I am very excited to be staring up the music program at Lutheran Church of the Holy Communion for another season. I look forward to again working with all of you involved in the music program. For those of you who have not been involved in the music program, I strongly encourage you to get involved this year with the music ministry at LCHC.

The adult choir, which rehearses on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:45 AM and one Sunday a month from 12:30-2:00 PM, leads weekly worship services as well as special festival occasions. This ensemble meets from September through May and sings anthems 2-3 Sundays a month, so you need not to commit to every week. The regular choir season begins on Rally Sunday. SEE YOU THERE!!

If the weekly commitment to the choir is a bit too much for you, I hope you consider one of the other ways that you can contribute to the music program at LCHC. You can share your time as a psalmody cantor, or vocal or instrumental soloist for the worship services. I would also like continue to update a list of congregational members who are proficient on an instrument and would consider accompanying worship services from time to time. If you are interested in offering your services in one of these areas, I ask that you see me to set up a time where we can sit down and discuss the best ways for you to help.
