Stewardship Ministry

“If someone who has worldly means and sees a brother in need and refuses him compassion
how can the love of God remain in him?
Children, let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth."
1 John 3: 17-18

Stewardship refers to the Christian belief that we have the responsibility to maintain and use wisely the gifts that God has provided us. This is based on the belief that all that we have is from God, and all that we have been given should be used to serve God and further His ministries.

The goal of the Stewardship Ministry is to develop, enhance, and increase people’s feelings toward using the gifts that God has provided us to take care of the world that He has provided to us. God’s gifts include time, talent, and wealth.

Our mission here at Holy Communion provides many outlets to serve God and develop a strong commitment to Stewardship practices. We are currently looking for people who may be interested in working on issues dealing with Environmental Stewardship.
